Robert Arlen Hotz - Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology Student

Robert Arlen Hotz is a doctoral trainee in clinical psychology at The Chicago School. A Merit scholar in an APA-accredited program, Robert Arlen Hotz expects to complete his education in May 2028. He earned his BA in psychology from New York University in 2021. There, he was actively involved in neuroscience research and was a recipient of the Dean’s Undergraduate Research Fund Grant.

As part of his Psy.D. clinical training, Robert Hotz has completed extensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments. He currently serves in an advanced practicum at the Rush Neurobehavioral Center, where he conducts testing, scoring, and report writing under supervision. His prior experience includes diagnostic neuropsychological assessment training at the Landstrom Center and forensic competency evaluations at the New Mexico Center for Forensic Psychology. Across these settings, he has administered a broad range of assessments and authored several clinical and forensic reports.

In addition to assessment work, Robert Hotz has provided individual psychotherapy in private practice and school-based settings as part of his therapy practicum at Guada Psychological Services. He worked with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. He has also volunteered as a crisis counselor at the Crisis Text Line and assisted senior residents as a care advocate at The Greenwich House.

Robert Hotz has a diploma in hypnotherapy and has a certification in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. He is a published coauthor in the journal Nature Communications and is a student member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
